Lucifer is the Devil. The literal embodiment of the Devil. Though he differs greatly from Biblical sources. He has more than once expressed his annoyance in people blaming him for stupid things they do. All he does is punish those whom has sinned, but he doesn't lead people astray. Not with malice at least. In fact he's fervent in his desire to punish people whom harm others. He's not responsible for other people's choices made by their own free will. He's more of an anti-hero than a villain in his TV-series.

He's still the Devil though and with that comes many powers. He nigh unkillable, strong beyond compare and capable of wielding fire, if he so desires. As the ruler of Hell he can easily command demons and other such creatures. Most of the time he relies on his charm and if that fails, his ability to instill fear in people by showing them his true face.

His most powerful ability is that of desire. With a simple question "what do you desire?" he will know immediately what the other person's innermost desire is. Few are capable of withstanding this power. But I'll leave that up to you. If you doesn't want Lucifer to be able to tell what you desire, feel free to leave a note here about opting out of it. It'll leave him rather confused though.

Another thing that may be of note. While Lucifer is called the Devil, he still a fallen angel. He did cut off his wings but recently they have developed an annoying tendency of re-growing.

N.B. I have only watched season 1 of Lucifer. As such I'm not aware of some character development he goes through. As I watch through the show, this may change.
